First you should familiarize yourself with the helicopters remote control. On most remote controlled helicopters there generally have two sticks, also known as controller sticks on each side. One stick is meant to control the throttle and the other the rudder. Aside from these two remote control sticks there is also going to be the two dials that are often used for adjusting the aileron trim and elevator trims.
Next you will of course need to make sure that you have plugged in your battery pack in the helicopter to make sure that it has a full battery. If it doesn’t, be sure to charge the helicopter before usage. By making sure your battery has a full charge you are giving yourself more opportunity to fly with it.
Next you should try raising the helicopter from the floor or another flat surface and work on getting use to the controls of taking off and lifting. By doing this, you are giving yourself the advantage of knowing how to land. Once you have figured this out, you can try moving upwards, downwards, to the left and to the right.
